Play Biting With Your Dog: The Safe Way
Nestly: A little video I made to demonstrate the appropriate way to ‘play bite’ with your dog. Most people think play biting leads to biting and other behavior problems, and often times, it does. But it doesn’t have to. As long as your puppy/dog listens to you and knows when to stop, it’s perfectly safe. Just be consistent and make sure to let your dog know when to stop! If he doesn’t listen, then the playing immediately stops and he gets removed from the fun. It might also be a good idea to treat him in the beginning when he does stop, so he can know rewards are given for listening.
