One day when I was walking down the street, a wild dog came up to me and attacked me. I was so scared he was foaming at the mouth. Fortunately, he didn’t bite me, and I was able to get away unscathed by pushing him off me. I like to take jogs at night, so I needed something to protect me in case something like this ever happened again. So I went online and looked around and found something called the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent. This thing will repel dogs away if they come near me and I don’t want them around by emitting an ultrasonic sound that irritates the dog. It also has a few other uses that I like.
One of the coolest things about the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent is the alarm that it emits if you are in trouble. You can make it so that it will stay on if you need it to. It’s perfect for my late night jogs because I have come across some shady types on my travels.
I like that the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent offers a high powered led flashlight. It’s come in useful for me. I lost my.keys on the ground once and was able to find it using the light. It’s also been great for me to use when I’m jogging around to see street signs at night.
The best thing I think about the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent is that it is so lightweight and easy to carry around. When I go out to jog, I just keep it in my pocket, so I don’t have to hold it in my hand.
There is another sort of feature that the company talks about on its web page. The Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent’s ultrasonic frequencies can be used as a sort of dog remote. At least that’s what me and my wife call it. Instead of swatting our sweet little Pekingese, we just push the button whenever it does something wrong, and it won’t do it. It’s cool. Our carpet looks a lot better now. That is probably the coolest benefit the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent has to offer.
I do have one issue with the device though it is small. It only works up to 50 ft. away. So, even though dogs can hear it up to 350 ft, it doesn’t repel them. Also, not all dogs will run away from it, and that’s not cool.
Overall, I like the Onguard 3-in-1 Deterrent. It’s multipurpose, and it has been a great help to me. My wife loves it too. She puts it right next to all the other remotes next to the TV. It has the right features and the right price for me. Plus, I think the dog remote part is cool. I’m glad I bought it, and I think you’ll like it.
