Dog Training | Typical Day Training | Solid K9 Training

Here is a look at a typical day at the training center for us! Lots of dogs on place working on duration and several doing active training.
The training room is always busy and filled with board and train dogs working on their obedience and calm minds. The dogs on place are expected to just stay there and work on a calmer state of mind. Many dogs that come to us struggle with this and constantly want to be part of everything and are on edge.
All of the dogs in this room become distractions for one another. They must learn to ignore each other and work in the presence of other dogs. Several of the dogs in the video are dog reactive or dog aggressive. Seeing other dogs was a huge trigger for them prior to training.
We work all dogs up to the level and work them individually first to make sure they can handle this amount of stimulation.
