Brittney working with Roxy a basic recall to crate exercise. Roxy struggled with severe crate anxiety to the point where her owners could not crate her or leave her for long periods of time. They would often have to throw a toy inside their home and run out the door before Roxy noticed.
This exercise in the video combines several commands- place, recall, crate, down. Roxy has moved into off leash obedience skills and is now being held accountable for her actions. She is in correction mode. Roxy is also spending time in the crate learning to relax. She is beginning to realize the crate isn’t so bad and to enjoy it.
