8 Month Old Puppy Training: Obedience Class Can Be Fun!
Even though my focus for training is agility I like to leave “serious” agility until my puppies are closer to a year old. This video is of my8 month old puppy “Momentum” working in class. I love to train my puppies in obedience as they grow up. Putting my puppies in a local obedience class works for me for many reasons:
1.It is a great place to help “generalize” behaviours.
2. You have to keep your eyes open, but you can time your “play” and rewards to make sure other dogs approaching = a good thing from you to your puppy.
3. It is a fantastic evening out with my dogs each week!
